'Blasts from the past'
The late Mr Bligdon, with the camera club in the Junior yard, approx 1980/1981. The Dining hall is in the background and to the left. To the right of Mr Bligdons head was the concrete shelter, and the 'tempory' classrooms. (Pictured Right) Similar shot taken December 2005. As you can see, apart from the edge of the dinning hall, the rest is now gone. A service road leads directly into what is left of the junior yard.
Mr Bligdon(left) Mr A thompson (centre) and Mr Brody (thanks to Tim James) This shot has been taken again in the junior yard but this time more to the right of the previous shot and in the background you can clearly see the English block and the front of the library, which is used as a teacher information office, this still stands today. (Pictured right) The junior yard as it is today. Above the VW Sharron pictured in the yard is the same three pained window as in the shot above.
