According to the records this shot was taken of the school in the very early 1970's, As you can see without the 'Infamous' inflatable Bubble,indoor badminton and tennis courts.
The caretakers house is yet to have been built.

Notes:
A: What? No Bubble? It Will be here one day!
B: This area now has been turned into a housing estate.
C: This arrow points to where the oval bus bay used to be, a teacher was always on duty here. Now used as the road into Kings School.
D: Yep, more houses here to.
E: This is roughly where the caretakers house will be built. It is still there to this day but has been converted to a more modern house this year (2005) and sold to private buyer.
F: Music Block (home of the scarey Mr Clarke!)
G: This is where the future Language block will be, built in 1984. Now of course been demolished, (see next page)
H: Swimming Pool, never used when I attended Monty and was partially built over in construction of the language block
I: P.E Block/Sports Hall. Had offices for P.E staff. Nasty cold showers!
J: Senior yard (Now only a fragment remains)
K: Main Assembly hall (gone too!)
L: Main Entrance to the school and old library.
M: Art block, shown here before ceramics room was added.
N: CDT Block (now used by the Hants Council (falcon house) see recent photos. You can also see faint outlines of the cricket nets.
O: Tempory and very draughty classrooms, used for French lessons and just about any other you could think of! (gone as well)
P: Monty's vast playing field areas used for Rugby, Football, the rough land to the left of the arrow was the infamous 'dip'and snogging area with the Danemark girls ( Well not me, unfortunately!) Also a training circuit which u can roughly see. Further North were the Boarding houses.
Q: Dinner halls, Clock tower and Bike sheds (No Smoking please!) Still there, not in good condtion (See school photos)
R: Long and High Jumps.
S: More temporary classrooms.
T: Junior Playground (now a car park by the Hants council)
U: A double classroom was here when I was at the school in 1981 and was used by Teachers, Maharris, Ellis, Bancroft and Ashmead.
